Prayer

Prayer is one of the most important things you can do in a relationship with the Lord. It is a connection between you and God, the only way of direct communication in this world. If you do not pray then you need to take another look at your relationship with the Lord.
Over and over again the Bible calls us to cry out in prayer to God for it is one of the most powerful ways he can answer and help you in life. He tells to "Be devoted to one another in prayer."

In Bible class we watched a movie called "War Room", it told a story of how powerful prayer is. How ,when you actually take time to talk to Lord and listen to what has to say in reply, extraordinary things can happen. The only way to see this for yourself is to sit down with the Lord and have a chat with him.
Now, you may think some things are unimportant to Him---'Why bother?' Because the Lord cares about all things no matter how miniscule you may think they are. We are to go to Him about everything. So, " Lord what should I wear today that will bring glory to you?" is as important a prayer as any other. Try to spend as much time as possible throughout the day in communion with the Lord, praying when you feel led, whether it be every two minutes or once every hour. Say hello to God and let Him know you want to talk to Him and He will answer.
